Susan's remarkable journey in the fashion industry is a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication. From being a finalist in the renowned "Handbag101 Awards IHDA" to receiving recognition for her innovative design concept featuring Swarovski crystals, she quickly made her mark. Her dream catcher-inspired handbag, where the crystals symbolized dreams and the chain represented the path to those dreams, earned her full sponsorship from Swarovski. This success led to an apprenticeship with the prestigious Couture house Viktor & Rolf in Europe, following her graduation from Parsons School of Design.

With a background in menswear design from Parsons, Susan's keen attention to detail led her to specialize in footwear and handbags. Throughout her career, she has worked and consulted for top brands such as Kipling, Cole Haan, Calvin Klein, Saks Fifth Avenue, Kenneth Cole, Anne Klein and many more. Most recently, as Lead Product Designer and Product Developer at CALPAK, Susan doubled the company’s revenue.

Susan’s ability to craft designs that align with the vision, aesthetics, and needs of various brands has been pivotal to her success. Currently serving as Senior Accessories Technical Designer at Alo Yoga, she continues to shape the fashion world with her expertise and vision.
