The Baby Collection was an incredibly rewarding yet challenging project that took a full year to bring to life. As Lead Product Designer and Lead Product Developer, I had the privilege of overseeing the entire process from start to finish. We attended numerous trade shows and conducted extensive market research to create the best possible bag for parents. One of the biggest obstacles I faced was not being a parent myself. To truly understand the needs of moms and dads, I interviewed countless parents to learn about their pain points and discover what was missing from existing bags on the market. Every parent deserves a thoughtfully designed product, and I was determined to make that a reality. After selecting the right materials, we conducted rigorous testing, ensuring compliance with CP65, Oeko Tex Standard 100, BPA-free standards, and performing physical and chemical tests to prevent choking hazards. Of all the categories I’ve worked on in my design career, the Baby Collection stands out as one of the most challenging. But after all the hard work and dedication, seeing the designs come to life was a truly rewarding experience.

Managed design direction, material selection, construction, quality control and testing while leading the onboarding of new supply chain partners. Developed multiple best-selling styles that drove a 50% increase in revenue, balancing brand vision with strong commercial performance.

Designed a new hard-shell luggage silhouette and developed a custom mold inspired by rustic Los Angeles doors. The collection launched across all TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack locations for off-price line.
